I’m currently working on a new art series, entitled Beneath the Surface, which delves into the hidden world of aquifers with a blend of artistry and environmental consciousness. Through mixed-media artworks, I explore the intricate and often unseen systems of groundwater extraction, particularly center-pivot irrigation, in the context of modern agriculture.
The series reflects my deep concern for the impact of these practices on our planet and aims to bring them into sharp focus. It takes viewers on a journey beneath the Earth’s surface, revealing the mesmerizing patterns and complexities of this vital resource while encouraging contemplation of our relationship with the agricultural industry and the environment.
